Zinnias are one of my favorite flowers to grow. So many varieties and it gets a 10 for one of the easiest to grow.

I wanted to show you how I know when a Zinnia is ready to cut! 😊

My worst enemy. The Japanese Beetle.
I hunt these suckers day and night. This is the worst I’ve seen this year. They will destroy everything overnight if you keep an eye on them. I flick them in to a bucket of hot soapy water and wish them well. lol

Super duper excited about the growth of these starter plants. They are the precious metals variety from Floret and usually I would direct sow Zinnias, but with the seeds being $20 a pack I decided to start some inside as well..

Some fun facts about Asparagus..

They are a perennial vegetable. Meaning they come back every year.

Once planted they can take up to 2 years before you have your first harvest.

Once established they grow 8 inches a day and will produce for up to 30 years..

Amazing and yummy.. we all need to plant Asparagus 😊
